Rescue stories like the ones here are always inspiring. The best thing about these experiences is that there is a happy ending for both the animals and the people who have taken them into their homes and hearts. Although there is an amazing bond with all pets and their owners, the bond with an animal who would have never had a chance at life without your intervention is a special one. Somehow these animals know what you have done for them, and they thank you for their second chance every day they are with you. Most of the people who have shared these tales don’t think they have done anything out of the ordinary. They saw a life (or lives) that shouldn’t and couldn’t be put aside or thrown away. They only did what every person with compassion would do, right? While we would like to think that is true, it isn’t the case many times. On behalf of the animals who have been given a wonderful life by those of you compassionate enough not to turn away, we at Save Samoa wish to say thank you.
